WHAT'S ON

We very much regret that the concert arranged for Saturday 16th March had to be cancelled at 48 hours' notice. This was due to the illness of both the conductor and organist in which the noro virus had a hand. It proved impossible to make alternative arrangements and so, at very short notice, the concert was cancelled. We apologize to any who arrived at the venue and were disappointed.

Our next concert is planned for SATURDAY JULY 6TH at St Mark's, 249 Old Marylebone Road, London NW1 5QT, at 7.30 p.m. The programme marks the centenary year of Benjamin Britten's birth and includes his 'Flower Songs', and a round from his opera, 'Peter Grimes'. We will also perform his 'Hymn to the Virgin', written whilst he was still a schoolboy. Part Songs and madrigals from several countries will be sung, too, and we end the evening with supper.

Rehearsals have started at St Mary's Church Hall, Crawford Street, W1H 1PN (Thursdays 7-9.30 p.m.), so do come along if you'd like to take part.
