70TH BIRTHDAY CONCERT WITH THE LONDON MOZART PLAYERS
6 FEBRUARY 2010
The success of Geoffrey’s 70th Birthday Concert was resounding (with particular reference to 'Zadok the Priest'!) and it was an almost complete sell-out. Both the audience and the performers enjoyed the evening immensely, and at the reception following the concert, Geoffrey was presented with a birthday cake and a gift from the London Ripieno Singers. Many thanks to the organisers, the London Mozart Players, and all the ex-Rips who took part. It was great to see old friends, and to have lots of voices in every section.
