This year the London Ripieno Society has something in common with the Queen - a Jubilee! Her Majesty takes the lead with her Diamond Jubilee; ours is the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the Society by Geoffrey Hanson in 1962 - our 50th year. We will be celebrating with a Jubilee Concert in December and you are hereby invited. Watch this space for details.

Meanwhile, in the SPRING SESSION beginning on Thursday 26th January we are rehearsing for a supper concert at 7.30 pm on SATURDAY 31ST MARCH at All Saints' Church, Durham Road, East Finchley N2 9NH. The programme will include Haydn's 'Little Organ Mass' and 'Salve Regina', and Carissimi's beautiful oratorio 'Jephte'. Tickets are priced at £10 and £8 (concessions), plus a supper charge of £7 per person. As always, supper tickets need to be booked well ahead of the date so that the caterers can make adequate preparations.

The SUMMER SESSION will begin on Thursday 19th April, working towards a concert at 7.30 pm on SATURDAY 23RD JUNE at St Mark's Church, Old Marylebone Road, London NW1 5QT. It will be a Gilbert & Sullivan evening, with SUPPER, and should be a lot of fun. We'll keep you posted.

The WINTER SESSION begins in September and the JUBILEE CONCERT is provisionally set for Saturday 8th December 2012. The planned performance includes the Haydn 'Nelson' Mass and 'Te Deum'. More information later......
